Real Yoga

According to Yantra Yoga, one can determine which chakras are open or closed based upon one's soul and expression number. Having a balanced name further helps open the chakras while an unbalanced name can possibly have the opposite effect — closing the chakras.

There are twelve Chakras, also referred to as Psychic Centers, in total.

1. Five spinal centers.
2. Four cranial.
3. Three purely etheric.
• The last three are open for everyone.
• These three represent Forces of Grace.

The nine chakras in the lower cranial and spinal centers are represented by the numeral 1 through 9 as seen in the chart:

Yantra Yoga helps us identify which Chakra or Life Center is open from the moment we are born — the first breath of life.

We identify which Chakra is open by looking at one's Soul Number, known as the Dharma Marga in Sanskrit.

The Chakra or Center related to your Soul Number is open, even if only a little, without a balanced name, opened more with a partially balanced name and opened more fully with a balanced name.

The Minor Lessons we encounter, based upon our date of birth, open additional Chakras to some degree during the period of the Minor Lesson. These Chakras may remain open if the next Minor Lesson is in harmony with the help of a balanced name.

The vibration of the first and last names, when combined, can also open Chakras if there is harmony between one's name and birthpath or close if there is disharmony.

The Appearance Number (the middle number of the first name and birthpath) and Association Number (the middle number of the first and last name combined), do not open or close Chakras as they are external numbers.

Each Chakra or Center has a designated number of petals.

Each of the petals has a Bija sound associated with it.

Each Bija sound creates deep mystical qualities that are exhibited in human personalities. As a result, if a Chakra or Padma (lotus) is fully open, all the qualities associated with the petals will have a tendency to be manifested. In Yantra Yoga we help open the Chakras using a balanced name. An unbalanced name can close or warp the Chakras.

In Yoga it is said that a perfectly Realized Master will have all twelve Chakras fully opened. As a result, all possible human qualities are exhibited or displayed by a Master but in a highly refined and subtle manner.
