Resurrection
To the many students who are not Christian in belief, you may have heard of the Resurrection of Jesus, 3 days after lying in the tomb dead. He came to life, giving further instructions to his disciples and then transcended into heaven. Nice story. It is remembered every year as Easter.
There may be a story something like that in other religions also. Nearly all religions had a flood, many talk of 40 days and 40 nights and nearly all have a Son of God, that in some way was bound by a triune property.
Once again we can see where the parable of Jesus demonstrates the waking up
of the Sleeping Man Syndrome, believing himself to be a person with Attributes, yet when he dies to the small Ego Self, he Awakens into his Supraconscious SELF of the 4th Dimension of Turiya.
Even the 3 days difference between His death and his resurrection is to be found in what I have mentioned to you before — that is — when the 3rd chakra is opened, giving birth to Christ Consciousness, each one of us must lift that state of consciousness again and ascend in the Sushumna, to collect finally in the Crown Chakra. This is the death of Impure Consciousness, that raises itself and transcends all manifested form to finally reside in Pure Consciousness — Moksha.
The allegories of all religions were an absolute necessity, and even now, so many people find it difficult to translate the external happenings in the great religious books, as actually pertaining to what is occurring in their own bodies.
Yoga, itself, has become very popular when you consider it has only been known commercially in the West for a mere 60 or 70 years, and now REAL YOGA, that Secret Yoga, is slowly gaining a foothold. It is gaining a foothold because the commercial Yoga never really paid off
in the sense of Samadhis.
It is true that any Yoga practise will give the adherent balance, peace, poise, calmness and perhaps some visionary states which we now know are nothing but hallucinations created by the brain, and that for some, has not been quite enough.
I have received letters from many who have studied Yoga, but in being tied up in so much dogmatism, have never felt fulfilled — that is in the sense of really knowing SELF. This Real Yoga is not easy in one sense, and yet terribly easy in another. For this reason...
If you have ever hurt your finger — or made a sore on some other part of your body — or even had a headache, it pierces your attention. You cannot get your Mind off it. Of course you go to work, you drive your car, you chat to people, but all the while the attention is on the sore. A toothache is good example of this state of affairs.
Real Yoga, with its definitive type of meditation, does just this — it keeps your attention always on SELF, while at the same time being able to function along side of your ever diminishing Ego.
So many have asked is it wrong to do this or that or the other while practicing Yoga? Some ask about smoking and or drinking, some even ask about sex. When you think about it, when you give your attention to my method of CONSTANT meditation, something happens, very slowly, but it happens. You do not have to force it to happen. You do not have to suppress, nor abnegate your habits or thinking, and what happens is Supraconsciousness begins its term of pregnancy and birth within You. Along with Supraconsciousness comes gnosis
— Pure Knowledge. When You have Pure Knowledge, You cannot do otherwise. In fact it is only reasonable to follow its beckoning.
In your case it may be found that to not smoke is the wisest thing. In another case, not to drink. In that knowledge things
fall away from You. Like the chaff falls from wheat, and you are free of these things without effort, or denial or suppression.
Keeping your attention on this meditative process while working in the everyday world is just like having a toothache but without the pain. It is a constant remembrance.
Most people go about Yoga completely backwards. They GIVE up smoking, drinking, sex, partying, (sounds like other religions also) and expect to find Liberation because of it. All that happens is people become psychically sick due to denying their own youth, their own desires — and virtually their own ordinariness of being human. Liberation can never occur like that.
It is only when you supplant something new which can take the place of things
that these same things begin to fall away quite naturally as the new seed begins to grow. So understanding the workings of the mind and physical make up of the brain through Gnana Yoga and beginning the waking meditation, this new seed begins to grow and overbalances all other former desires, without you even noticing that they have disappeared.
So for some of you who celebrate the Easter Holiday — enjoy and for all the others learn to enjoy your Own perfectness as you are right now.
It is a a great huge delightful show. Throw off the shackles that bind you and begin to learn the Real Yoga.
