Real Yoga

Contained within the body are all the means to attain Self–Realization.

The River Jordan and Holy Ganges, Israel, Jerusalem and Nazareth, The Dead Sea, and besides that, the Miracle of the Parting of the Red Sea are all contained within the physical body of Man.

The allegory written in The Bible is nothing but a mirror reflection of what the Mystics have known for thousands of years.

Was the Red Sea really parted at the wave of a hand and then closed again so that the Egyptians would be covered by a deluge? Those who still believe in magic and miracles above and beyond the Concomitant Laws of this physical World would like you think so.

The Bible and New Testament are filled with mystic ways which enable man to Unite with his Inner Nature, the SELF or Atman, but in those days the people were of such intellect that to explain in detail what the actual course for Uniting with God was, would have been useless. It is much the same today. The way has been shown but too many people do not heed the Teachings and would rather cling to old and comfortable lore. This is so prevalent that all mystic teachings go unheeded.

On either side of the spine are two great Nadis, or Mystic Nerves. The one on the left is called the Ida, and the one on the right is called the Pingala. These nerves arn't recognized as being such by medical science, much the same way that the acupuncture meridian lines were not accepted in the West by the medical profession until recent times. Up the centre of the spine is a hollow channel called the Sushumna Canal.

This Sushumna Canal is the Red Sea, and the parting of the waters is the removal of the lifetronic forces from the two accompanying Nadis which parallel it. Through the practise of Pratyahara — or the drawing in of all sense perception — from the afferent and efferent nerves, life force becomes centred in the Coccyx Chakra. Once this has bean accomplished, the great Kundalini force — Shakti energy, represented as a Coiled Serpent residing in the lower chakra, can then be lifted up through the Sushumna, passing through and opening each one of the major seven chakras, spoken of in Revelations as the Seven Churches with the Seven Candlesticks, to reach the final goal and homeland — Israel — or the Sahasrara Centre, the Thousand Petalled Lotus at the top of the head (an infant's soft spot).

Man, in his pristine state, was residing in the Garden of Eden — that is in Union with God, without separateness, but once this Snake, or Serpent Force known as the Kundalini, began to move and force itself downwards from his Garden of Eden Center, the Sahasrara, his senses became aroused, and he was tempted to bite into the apple of sexual–energy–release and the Illusion of Objective Reality. His new found knowledge of outward moving conciousness, as opposed to that of his former Eternal Bliss cast a veil of illusion over him; thus was created — the delusory concept that pleasures bring about happiness.

Unknown to him, but explained by Patanjali in his Philosophy of Klesas, all pleasures ultimately culminate in pain. The knowledge of good and evil, or the knowledge of the Tree of Life was thus born.

The initial split with the God Head had now been performed, and by this wonderful parable of the Garden of Eden it has been explained, in mystic terms or veiled ones at least, just how it occured. By the practise of Pratyahara, the conscious energies are re–instated at their initial centre and the practise of lifting this vital force back to its original source and Uniting with it, becomes the goal of the Yogi.

As it reaches the Second Centre, intuitive knowledge that God exists and is within, becomes clear to the aspirant. The higher intellect, known as Viveka or Spiritual Discernement, is put to work from this point, and the energy is lifted to the Third Centre where the first signs of expression of the Divinity Within becomes manifested. It now becomes a great deal easier for the aspirant to lift the energies into the Fourth Centre where he is filled with a sense of Divine Ecstasy, and at last beholds his ideal — his SELF. When the Shakti force is taken even higher into the Fifth Centre, all he can do is think about, and talk about God, for now he attains Bhava Mukta. This constant remembrance of God from moment to moment activates the pituitary and pineal gland which secrete, in turn a white and yellow fluid, which became known as the Land of Milk and Honey.

The uniting of these two fluids causes a brilliant flash in the Ajana Centre (the Third Eye or the Star of Bethlehem), then flows down the Pancreatic Nerve (The River Jordan) to the Third Center (Navel Centre or The Manger), where Christ Conciousness is born in Man. At this point one can say as did Jesus, that he was the Son of God. This potent state of awareness illuminates the whole body with Light, and this Light energy is then lifted to the top of the cranium where one unites with God — I and the Father are one.

It doesn't seem plausible, at this point, that all the scriptures are an allegory on the workings of these Divine Principles within each one of us. Yet because such few people understand what has been written, and begin to do something about it, we can then see why in fact the scriptures were written in such a manner.

In those days we can understand the need for moral codes, and after all what more are religious doctrines than prescriptive tomes to aid man to live a better, healthier and happier life. We can understand the need for restraint, and even renunciation, but if one isn't capable of adhering to the basic precepts of scripture, it then becomes impossible to begin this Herculean task. To walk this way, one must deny himself, not life itself, but deny that which has removed his sense of eternal Bliss. That denial takes prgressively different forms in everyone. It begins though, with Patanjali's famous aphorism, Abhyasa of the Chitti Vritti. This simply means, restraining mental fluctuation — stilling the Mind. With that slow beginning one can go on to its fullfillment, Chitta Vritti Nihoda or total annihilation of all mental fluctuation.

It is noted in Revelations that 144000 shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This has been misinterperted and misused for centuries. In the original Greek it is stated that those which shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven shall be of the Alpha Gamma Gamma Betta. There was no way in which that could be translated, but In the early Greek language Alpha was the first and most predominate letter of the alphabet (The Father), while Gamma represented the earthly fourth principle (The Son), and Betta designated infinity (The Holy Ghost).

Those that encompassed the entire aspect of the Divine Man represented by the total of the numbers 144000, which totals to number 9, were the ones which would inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. This number 9 is the number of Divinity.

The Mark of the Beast, 666, has created other confusions, and a lot of trouble for certain nations and peoples — for the finger has been pointed at various countries and empires as exemplifying The Beast. It's quite easily understood when one knows the science of Mudra Yoga and the Cycles of Yugas as explained by Sri Yukteswar. The duration of the world cycle is designated by Yugas, with the evolutionary period being of 6000 years duration and the involution period being the same, giving the grand cycle a total of 12000 years duration. At the apex of this great circle it is designated as 999. It's here where we are united in Spirit. As the cycle involutes to its bottom position, The Kali Yuga Age, those 999's take their upside down position and become 666, thus representing that period of the earths transition through its individual Yugas culminating in the beastliness of man throughout the dark ages.

The cycle of the Beast is known as the Kali Yuga Age. Fortunately, as explained in great detail by Swami Yukteswarji, we have long since entered into the intermediate cycle called the Dwapara Yuga. Man has left the Mark of the Beast behind him, and can look forward to an ever expanding conciousness, which ultimately will be uplifted.

The Scientific and the Spiritual will become more and more closely united as man realizes that the Microcosm of his body is a direct reflection of the great Macrocosm of the entire Cosmos.

We shall begin to see, with absolute clarity, the reality of finding and uniting with God by following the course of the symbolic River Ganges and/or Jordan, through the Seven Churches (Chakras) up to our homeland Israel (The Thousand Petal Lotus), and the joy and fullfillment of Sat–Chit–Amanda. There lies the Heaven within Us. It is all physical, locked within our bodies and our brains, ready to be released for those that have the ears to hear. To go on being blatantly duped by following the literal meaning to of the scriptures, while still expending the vital forces out through the senses, is an endless road of knocking your head against a brick wall.

Some few people have managed to break through, by the Grace of the Param Atman (The Higher Self), and their own efforts, but the time is fast approaching where vast multitudes will take the way of the hidden Yoga.
